On Sunday, Aug. 6, “The Rock Steady Dance Band” will take the stage. This high energy party/dance band features Motown, Classic Rock, Soul, and Classic Disco.
On Sunday, Aug. 20, “Group Du Jour” will captivate the Yorktown audience with top 40, rock, pop and dance selections. The band’s musical experience and innovative techniques allows it to be comfortable playing the hits of today, as well as hits from decades past.
On Sunday Aug. 27, a military tribute concert will feature Jessica Lynn. Please note that this particular concert begins at 5:00 PM. Special guests will include Alyssa Martin and the Golden Apple Chorus. The main attraction will be Westchester product Jessica Lynn. Lynn is known as a crossover artist and songwriter who tours internationally (23 countries in 2023). Her debut album “Lone Rider” has hit the top of the charts: #5 in US country music, broke the top 20 in Canada, #17 in all genres, and the to 50 in Belgium.
The Yorktown Lion’s Club and the Yorktown Parks & Recreation Department will host the annual summer concert series at the John “Jack” De Vito Gazebo on Veterans Road.
All shows will take place at 6:00 PM. Rain location is the Yorktown Stage located adjacent to the Gazebo at the Albert A. Capellini Community and Cultural Center.
