Born in Havana, Cuba, Tony Leon launched his singing career with Los Melodicos. He went on to work with the Niño Rivera Group and the distinguished Modelo de Miguelito Cuni band.
Tony arrived in New York in 1979 and became soloist for renowned trumpeter and orchestra leader Alfredo ‘Chocolate’ Armenteros (more.)
