The Moonlight Initiative is a group of diverse, working-class heroes by day, musical adventurers by night!

Born and raised in the New York Hudson Valley/Tri-state regions, within the glow of NYC streetlights, big dreams, conflicts, and cultural energy. The group draws its sound from the rich gritty influences of soul, R&B, funk, jazz and hip hop that is all around them. TMI gives too much information…on love, heartbreak, politics, and the everyday struggle to remain unique in a world at war with finding your personal path and truth. These stories unfold over the rhythms and rhymes that worship all soul music divinity…from the old to the new, and the future.
