Kurt Herman began playing drum set and percussion at the age of 10.  In college, he studied marimba, vibraphone and percussion with Jack Van Geem.  He has shared the stage and recorded with Tim Bruneau, Valentina Osinski, Rich Delgrosso, Keith Pray, Jeff Oehling, Dave Barrows, Chris Macchia, Pete Sweeney, Tom Charlap, and Peter Washington.  Kurt plays with 5 mallets and endorses Bergerault Vibraphones.  He is the leader of The Kurt Herman Duo and The Kurt Herman Trio which play jazz standards.
