PETEY HOP AND THE JACKRABBITS
Petey Hop has been an accomplished singer/frontman and sought-after sideman to Mitch Woods and Chris O’Leary allowing him to tour the US and Europe He has also shared the stage with one of his idols, Hubert Sumlin, and twice with Pinetop Perkins. Pete can communicate his roots yet convey a style all his own. He is equally comfortable as a solo acoustic performer, small combo rocker, or big ensemble player. Pete’s “The Levee” was produced by Duke Robillard and was chosen as #30 for the top 100 Blues Albums of 2012 by The Roots Report. His “2020 Blues” is a self-produced EP of new music inspired by the year from hell. Capturing the emotions and realities of a year of quarantine. A unique, eclectic, diverse songwriter with guitar chops to match his genre-spanning style.
