About Palmyra :

Established in the Shenandoah Valley, Palmyra explores the fusion of traditional folk string instruments, three part harmonies and foot percussion. In 2022, Palmyra made their Newport Folk Festival debut, were named the FloydFest 2022 On The Rise Winner, and performed over 200 tour dates on acclaimed stages up and down the East Coast. The trio captures the collective spirit of three Virginia natives, Teddy (he/him), Manoa (he/him), and Sasha (they/them). Palmyra’s songs are intimate and contemplative, with arrangements that allow them to create the illusion of a full, larger-than-three ensemble. The trio’s sound is a nod to Appalachia and Midwestern Americana, apparent through their stirring craftsmanship and dedication to a folk-driven, innovative experience throughout each live performance.

About Halley Neal:

Halley Neal is a folk singer and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Halley’s sound combines inspirations of classic folk music with modern day singer songwriters, and her live shows center on themes of positivity and peace. Halley has been blazing the folk trail over the last 2 years, performing in showcases and at festivals such as: Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk competition, Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s Telluride Troubadour competition, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest’s Songwriter Showcase, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill Emerging Artist Showcase, and most recently, being named the winner of SolarFest’s Singer-Songwriter Showcase.

Graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2019, Halley was chosen from the graduates to perform a song at Berklee’s Commencement Concert at Agganis Arena. The concert honored the 2019 Berklee honorary doctorates, Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake, and Alex Lacamoire, who all attended the show. In her final semester at Berklee, Halley collaborated with artist Plot Twist and her former band Rose & Kennedy to write and release a single called “Lover” which shortly after gained notable traction on Tik Tok. Since it’s release in July 2019, the song has gained over 27 million streams and has seen global acclaim with covers and Tik Toks of the song posted by people from all over the world.
