Born in Argentina, Norberto Goldberg has enjoyed a multi-faceted career on drums and percussion. His Latin Jazz band consists of world-class musicians playing a high-energy mix of Latin and Brazilian (Brazilatin) music including some of his original compositions.

Norberto has performed with Broadway legends such as Chita Rivera, Sandy Duncan, and Tommy Tune and in numerous Broadway shows including Dancin’, A Chorus Line, Grease, Once On This Island, Newsies and On Your Feet! Norberto has accompanied jazz artists including Dame Cleo Laine, Dewey Redman, Slide Hampton, and composers Lalo Shifrin and Michel Legrand. Recording credits include albums with Gerry Mulligan, Grover Washington Jr., various Latin artists as well as jingles and film scores. He is the author of LP’s instructional manual Understanding Latin Rhythms and contributed to Garland’s Encyclopedia of Percussion.
