Nate Liebert is a guitarist, composer and arranger.
Raised by Alt Rock and Indie bands such as Radiohead, Wilco and MGMT, he felt a curious magnetism towards any song that had layered guitar parts in harmony. To feed this fascination, Nate dug through his father’s record collection and eventually discovered the colorful extended harmonic language of jazz albums such as Miles’s Kind of Blue and Coltrane’s A Love Supreme. Before long, he spent every moment admiring and aspiring to the works of musicians such as Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth, Herbie Hancock, and anyone connected to them.

Neil graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2019 with a BS in Jazz Performance for Guitar, studying under Mark Dziuba. He has since moved to Queens in 2022 and studied with Camila Meza, Matthew Rotker-Lynn, and Tak Iwasaki. Neil is an active performer on the Jazz and R&B scene. and R&B scene around NYC.
