ON Sunday, April 7 at 4 PM, The Kennedys return to Music at the Ridge, where they opened our first concert in October of 2022.
The Kennedys—Pete and Maura—have been recognized frequently for their harmonies and instrumental prowess. Their music blends elements of country, bluegrass, Western swing and janglepop. They met as members of Nanci Griffith’s Blue Moon Orchestra in the 1990’s, and have been together since, touring the USA and Europe and gathering fans wherever they go. Pete plays acoustic and electric guitars, electric sitar, bass, mandolin and ukelele. Maura plays acoustic and electric guitars and ukelele. Together they have been described as “increasingly beloved purveyors of an exuberant blend of lively musical genres.”
