The Hudson Valley String Quartet has prepared a program of influential works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Claude Debussy, and features two short pieces that represent underheard voices of our past and present:  A composition by Iranian American composer Aftab Darvishi (1987-), inspired by Iranian poetry and a short tune by Rhiannon Giddens that is a theme and variation based on her song “At the Purchaser’s Option.”.  Please join the Hudson Valley String Quartet for their final concert of the season on Sunday June 25th at 3pm, at the Skinner Hall of Music at Vassar College, 124 Raymond Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY, 12604.  This concert is sponsored by Vassar College and is free to attend.
