TCCC will present George and Ruth: Songs and Letters of The Spanish Civil War. Directed by Katie Schmidt Feder. This play of letters between newlyweds George and Ruth Watt during George’s time as a volunteer in the Abraham Lincoln Brigade includes folk songs from the 1930s selected and adapted by Tony Saletan. Performed by singer/guitarist Albi Gorn, they will accompany actors Nick Nazario and Emrigael Alpern. Photographic images from the period, including many by Robert Capa, will be projected during the performance.
