TABLAO FLAMENCO Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana showcases the pride and power of flamenco in Tablao Flamenco, featuring an international cast of dancers and musicians. Named after the wooden floor used by a bailaor/a (dancer), tablaos are intimate venues that harness the highly improvisational and virtuosic nature of flamenco. Originally known as cafés cantantes (which became popular during the midnineteenth century in Spain), tablaos are still among the most popular places to see flamenco today.
