Come experience the Nashville tradition of a songwriter circles right here in Westchester! Songwriters sit in the middle, taking turns, playing stories and maybe telling stories about the song, too. One of the best ways to hear music is coming to Bethany Arts!

Siobhan O’Malley
Siobhan O’Malley is a singer-songwriter who released three critically-acclaimed albums, and has played her music all around the country. She was signed to the label Blue Coccoon records and played with many awesome musicians in NYC (including opening for Mike Viola and Nicole Atkins). She took a break from performing to have a couple of cutie-pie kids. She is delighted to be playing out again and often plays in the city with the New & Used Songwriters’ Collective and the O’Malley Family Band. She is passionate about writing songs and sharing them with friends and strangers alike.

Sophia McGlew
Sophia McGlew is a singer songwriter from Briarcliff Manor, NY. She describes her music as indie rock and indie pop, drawing inspiration from everything around her including ice cream and cocktails. Sophia has released two albums, New Romance in 2021 and her new album Surface October in 2024.

Melissa Stylianou
Toronto-born, NYC-based jazz vocalist, lyricist, and educator Melissa Stylianou has been hailed by piano master Fred Hersch for her “gorgeous instrument, superb musicianship, and great taste”. She has garnered acclaim as both a gifted songwriter and a bold, imaginative interpreter of wide-ranging material spanning diverse genres, from the Great American Songbook to Johnny Cash to Joanna Newsom. She has made numerous top festival and club appearances, toured internationally, and is currently developing a project that will draw musical inspiration from both her Irish and Greek-Cypriot roots.
