🎸 About Mark Cosgrove
Mark Cosgrove is celebrated for his distinctive flatpicking guitar style, which has captivated audiences across the U.S., Europe, Australia, and Japan. He’s a past winner of both the National Flatpick Guitar Championship and the Doc Watson Guitar Championship, and he’s a master of acoustic and electric guitar as well as mandolin.
In addition to his solo work, Mark has been a longtime member of the David Bromberg Quintet and Big Band, contributing to three acclaimed albums. Notably:

The Blues, The Whole Blues, And Nothing But The Blues was DownBeat Magazine’s 2017 Blues Album of the Year
🎶 Meet Good Medicine
Mark’s band, Good Medicine, is a powerhouse quartet of seasoned musicians known for their dynamic performances:
Nate Grower (Fiddle): Nate’s fiery fiddle playing has lit up stages nationwide alongside Mark in the David Bromberg ensembles.
Larry Cohen (Bass): A co-founder of Tony Trischka and Skyline, Larry anchors the group with a deep groove and pioneering spirit.
Peter Lorch (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals): Peter’s high harmony vocals and rhythm guitar round out the band’s rich sound.
Together, they create a musical experience that’s both technically dazzling and deeply soulful.
