Westchester Bluegrass Club has something special lined up for Mother’s Day — and you’re invited!

Join them on Sunday, May 11th at the Westchester Bluegrass Club for an intimate afternoon of music with High Horse and Kat Wallace.

🎻 About the Bands

High Horse is a progressive-acoustic string band from Boston, blending bluegrass, Celtic, and folk with a fresh, high-energy style. Finalists in the 2024 FreshGrass Awards, they’ve been praised for their virtuosic chops and tight vocals. Their debut album, produced by mandolin great Jacob Jolliff and engineered by Grammy-winner Dave Sinko, showcases their genre-bending approach to acoustic music. Catch them up close in our cozy club setting before they take the stage at Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival this July.

Kat Wallace is a Boston-based singer, songwriter, and fiddler whose songs are rooted in folk traditions with a modern edge. She has performed with acclaimed artists like Rachel Sumner and David Sasso, and her duo album Old Habitsreceived critical acclaim. Wallace’s performances have been praised for their heartfelt storytelling and virtuosic musicianship, making her a standout in the contemporary folk scene.

These two acts are a perfect blend of energy, skill, and soul.
