This month’s Troubadour Series event features brilliant talent.
BPS Records and Highest Frequency Records present The Troubadour Series on the second Saturday of the month in Middletown CT at HotRods Spotlight Lounge. This series presents incredible singer-songwriters, rising talent and veteran favorites who all serve the song. We’re beyond psyched to present February’s event! Here’s the lineup for this mini fest:
8pm – Nathaniel Hintz is a singer/songwriter from Connecticut who brilliantly blends Country & Western, Rock & Roll, and Gospel music into his own unique stew. His Southern New England twang has been heard in breweries, festivals, and music venues throughout the United States.
8:30pm – Adelaide Punkin is a pint-sized force to be reckoned with who already is a regular in the Souther New England music scene. Busking since age 6, she’s developed a unique musical style with a stunning voice that both soars and soothes.
9pm – American Elm is the nome de guerre of Chris Bousquet, a poetic singer-songwriting storyteller who draws you into mystery and wisdom. Along with Eric M. Lichter, Chris is one half of the band Electric Elm. They have released two singles in 2024, “Sandra Ann” and “Let Us Begin!”
9:30pm – Charlotte Roth infuses her music with a unique blend of soulful melodies and honest storytelling. With a voice from the heavens that makes you feel every note, her debut album, ‘I Guess I F*cking Care’, and other releases ‘Just Come on in From the Cold’ and ‘The Sad Girl EP,’ showcase her raw and emotive compositions.
10pm – Eddie Seville is an American songwriter who’s written songs released on Island / Atlantic and Universal Records, as well as music aired on the top three US television networks and HBO. Country Music People magazine calls him “a natural storyteller with powerful vocals and sharp lyrics”.. get more info at eddieseville.com
10:30pm – Erik Rabasca https://linktr.ee/erikrabasca is a musician, producer, singer/songwriter and founder of the independent label Highest Frequency Records. He plays a fusion of styles as an acoustic soloist ranging from folk, roots and jazz to reggae, indie and even a touch of country. His songwriting has been compared to Bobs Dylan and Marley, Paul Simon and more. He has toured the country, performed internationally, opened for Grammy-winners Jon Batiste, SOJA and Mike Farris, reggae legends The Meditations. Culture, Sugar Minott, has collaborated with dub legend Mad Professor and released over a dozen albums and EPs in various projects (Light Warriors, Lions Gate, Ecstatica, Human Tribes Collective, Other Planes of There, cuebrane) since founding his label in 2016.
