Scripts on Tap presents three one-acts by Garrett Bates: Shoot, Herb’s Adjustment and Namesake. Garrett Bates has lived in Kentucky his whole life, and his stories are based on his real life. Last year, Bate’s The Abbey was produced in New Canaan at the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival to critical acclaim.

The Palace Theatre announces the 2025 season of Scripts on Tap. We are looking for new plays to read. The pieces should not be longer than 90 minutes and cannot have been produced as a full production.
