Questar is a visionary ensemble conceived by Grammy Award-winning arranger and pianist Laurence Hobgood. Joined by the soulful vocals of Andromeda Turre, the rich bass lines of James Robbins, and the dynamic rhythms of drummer Orion Turre, Questar reimagines songs from the classic American repertoire. From the timeless melodies of Al Jarreau, Barbra Streisand, and Dionne Warwick to the iconic tunes of Sarah Vaughan, they breathe new life into beloved classics with Laurence’s captivating arrangements.
