Ninth Annual Pete Seeger Festival at Tompkins Corners Cultural Center in Putnam Valley, NY on May 4, 2025 from 2pm – 5pm

Our Ninth Annual Pete Seeger Fest will celebrate the musical, environmental and humanitarian legacy of our neighbor, mentor, and friend.

Many of the musicians were Pete’s friends, who performed with him, sailed with him on the sloops Clearwater and Woody Guthrie, and worked with him at the Beacon Sloop Club. In addition to singing Pete’s songs and their own, they will reminisce about the man who inspired so many people in the course of his 94 years.

New this year will be a group of young performers from Cold Spring, the “MOVE Choir,” under the direction of Linda Richards. They will join veteran performers Betty and the Baby Boomers, David and Jacob Bernz, Rick and Donna Nestler, Laurie Siegel and Patrick Stanfield Jones, the Trouble Sisters, and RJ Storm and the Old School Bluegrass Band.

This is a FREE, family-friendly event that will be outdoors if the weather permits or indoors if it rains. Donations will be shared with the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, the Beacon Sloop Club and the River Pool at Beacon.

Fine crafts will be offered for sale, and refreshments will be available.
