Drummer, Joe Corsello, was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut. Joe has made a lifetime commitment to playing drums and continually striving to reach new highs in the drumming world. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., under the watchful eye of drum legend Alan Dawson. After leaving Berklee, Joe enlisted in the U.S. Army band and was stationed in Staten Island, N.Y.
During his Army stint, Joe studied with drummer Joe Hunt who was living in New York City. After completion of his service obligation, Joe went on tour with the Glen Miller Orchestra under the direction of Buddy DeFranco. Joe remained in New York City as house drummer for Michael’s Pub, backing such jazz artists as Red Norvo, Joe Venuti, Dave McKenna, Hank Jones, Zoot Simms, and pianist, Marian McPartland. Joe’s longtime relationship with jazz producer/writer Michael Cuscuna, brought about the formation of the jazz/rock band, New York Mary, (Arista Records). The band recorded two successful records and toured with the B52′s, Patti Smith, Stevie Wonder and Tony Williams Lifetime band. Joe was the drummer for Sonny Rollins in his last working band before Sonny retired, and also appears on Sonny’s last studio recording, “Sonny, Please”. Keyboardist, Pat Marafiote, was born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut. He studied jazz arranging and composition at Julliard in Manhattan, NY, and also studied jazz piano with the legendary instructor John Mehegan as well as Lou Stein. Pat’s background includes many genres of music as a professional keyboard artist. His musical resume spans decades, including multiple tours with jazz, blues, R&B, and rock acts, including some of the best known artists of our generation. Pat has performed and recorded with several notable musicians, including Dave Weckl, Frank Foster, Mike Stern, Romero Lubambo, Stanley Banks, Adam Nussbaum, Larry Coryell, Kim Plainfield, Rohn Lawrence, Alvin Queen, Charlie Persip, Fred Parris and the Five Satins, Rhett Tyler, and many others.

Alto saxophonist, Larry Haddad, was born and grew up in Danbury, Connecticut. His father, Charlie Hadad, was a great local tenor saxophonist. Though Larry grew up hearing his dad practicing and performing, and heard lots of classic jazz during his formative years, he didn’t pick up the alto saxophone until he was 20 years old, as a student at the University of Iowa. While in Iowa, he studied saxophone with Tim O’Dell and professor Ronald Tyree, and studied jazz improvisation with Steve Grismore and John Rapson. After moving back home, Larry took private lessons with Jim LaPine, as well as auditing the saxophone masterclass at Hartt School of Music with jazz legend, Jackie McLean. Besides his father’s heavy influence on his sound and concept, Larry is also heavily influenced and inspired by Art Pepper, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, and Jackie McLean, among many other legendary saxophonists. He has performed for nearly the past three decades throughout the state of Connecticut, and performs regularly with some of the finest local jazz musicians in the state.
