Tompkins Corners presents Ensemble Sangineto: Italian Strings and Voices for World Music.

Formed in 2000 by twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto, the group blends ancient harmonies with modern rhythms. Children of renowned harp and psaltery maker Michele Sangineto, they were immersed in traditional music from an early age and later drew inspiration from Irish, Breton, and French styles.

Their sound combines harp, bowed psaltery, guitar, and rich three-part vocals—creating a light, joyful, and ethereal atmosphere. Ensemble Sangineto explores genres from classical and folk to pop and Gregorian chant. Now joined by guitarist and bouzouki player Jacopo Ventura, the trio continues evolving and enchanting audiences worldwide with their unique blend of tradition and innovation.
